APSC Veterinary Officer Recruitment 2026: The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) have released an released an advertisement (ADVT. NO. 11/2026) for a recruitment drive for 137 vacancies of Veterinary Officer/ Block Veterinary Officer, Class-B, Class-I (Jr. Grade) under Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department, Assam. The registration process for APSC Veterinary Officer Recruitment 2026 will begin on 7th August, 2026, and interested candidates have until 6th September 2026 to apply.

Pay Scale

• The candidates who get selected under APSC Veterinary Officer Recruitment 2026 will receive Basic pay of Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 1,10,000/- with grade pay of Rs. 12700/-
• Also, candidates will be getting other allowances admissible from time to time.

Eligibility

• The candidate applying under APSC Veterinary Officer Recruitment 2026 must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and must be a permanent resident of Assam.
• Age: The candidates should not be less than 21years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2026.

• Education Qualification: A Candidate must have at least a Degree in Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science from any recognized University/ Institution.

Selection procedure
