Background Story of Paper Leak & Initial Response

The controversy began when reports emerged about a potential leak of the HS First Year Mathematics question paper. Further investigation revealed that some institutions had already opened the sealed question paper packets before the scheduled time, raising serious concerns about exam security and fairness.

In response, the education board took immediate action, instructing institutions to return the question papers and suspending the remaining HS First Year examinations scheduled between March 24 and March 29, 2025. An official notification was released on March 22, confirming the postponement of all remaining exams to uphold the sanctity of the examination system.
