CTET Previous year question papers: The Central Teacher Eligibility Test, widely known as CTET is a national examination held in India by the Central Board of Secondary Education. Its primary goal is to evaluate the qualifications of people desiring to be teachers. The CTET exam is given twice a year and is designed exclusively for people who want to teach in the Primary Section (i.e. Class I to VIII).

CTET Exam Structure

All questions in CTET will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with four alternatives out of which one answer will be most appropriate. Each carries one mark and there will be no negative marking.

There will be two papers on CTET and 2 Hours & 30 Minutes will be given to complete each paper.

  • Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
  • Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
