SSC Selection Post Phase XI 2023: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has recently released an official notification for the fulfillment of more than 150 job vacancies at the central level. On the official notification released, more than 5369 vacancies have been released for various 10th-pass, 12th-pass, and graduate-level posts. Recently, the notification regarding MTS Havaldar recruitment had been released by the SSC as well. The eligible candidates looking for job opportunities must not miss this golden opportunity to grab a government job.
The online form fillup procedures for SSC Selection Post Phase XI 2023 have been started from the 6th of March, 2023. There will be three separate Computer Based Examinations (CBT) consisting of Objective Type/ Multiple Choice Questions, for posts with minimum Educational Qualification of Matriculation, Higher Secondary, and Graduation & above levels. SSC Selection Post Phase XI 2023: Eligibility Criteria
There are various eligibility criteria for the candidates applying for SSC Selection Post Phase XI 2023. The criteria are laid down below:
Basic Qualification
- The candidate must be a citizen of India
- The candidate may be a subject of Bhutan
- The candidate may be a subject of Nepal
- The candidate may be a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st of January 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India can apply for SSC

Essential Educational Qualifications
- Posts based on Matriculation examination: The candidates must have passed Matriculation Examination or equivalent from a recognized Board
- Posts based on Class 12 examination: The candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent from a recognized Board
- Posts based on Graduation: The candidates must have Graduated or equivalent from a recognized University
Scheme of Examination
As mentioned above, there is a common scheme of examination followed by three selection categories i.e, Matriculation, Higher Secondary, and Graduation as released in the SSC Selection Post Phase XI 2023 official notification. There will be four-part to the question paper which will consist of 25 questions each. The test needs to be completed within 60 minutes after the examination starts. The details are given below:

- The negative mark for every wrong answer is 0.50
- There will be normalized scores that will be used to determine final merit and cut-off marks

Application fee
The application fee for the completion of the online application of the SSC Selection Post Phase XI 2023 form is Rs 100 for each category. After filling in all the required credentials the aspirants can pay online mode in the portal.
Steps to apply

- Candidates will have to apply for each category of post separately and also pay a fee for each category of the post
- The candidates need to visit the official website and log in through their login id (Link given below)
- If you are a new user, click Register Now option and create your login credentials
- Upload your Basic documents like Aadhar card No, Upload Photo, Signature
- Now fill Application form by entering your qualification details and according to your qualifications posts list will appear on your screen
- Select the posts you want to apply
- After submitting all personal detail at the end you will get Payment options, just pay fees as mentioned on the form
- Click on Submit button on or before the closing date
Syllabus for the examination
The syllabus for the examination under SSC Selection Post Phase XI 2023 for 3 sections is almost the same though there are a few changes in it. The details regarding the syllabus are laid below:
Matriculation level
General Intelligence: It would include questions of a non-verbal type. The test will include questions on similarities and differences, space visualization, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision-making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, etc. The test will also include questions designed to test the candidate‟s abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationship, arithmetical computation, and other analytical functions.
General Awareness: Questions are designed to test the general awareness of the environment and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene, General Polity including Indian Constitution, Scientific Research, etc. These questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.
Quantitative Aptitude: This paper will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and the relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, use of Tables and Graphs, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.
English Language: Candidates’ understanding of the Basics of the English Language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms, correct usage, etc. his/ her writing ability would be tested.
15.7.2.10+2 (Higher Secondary) level
General Intelligence: It would include questions of both verbal and non-verbal types. The test will include questions on Semantic Analogy, Symbolic operations, Symbolic/ Number Analogy, Trends, Figural Analogy, Space Orientation, Semantic Classification, Venn Diagrams, Symbolic/ Number Classification, Drawing inferences, Figural Classification, Punched hole/pattern-folding & unfolding, Semantic Series, Figural Pattern – folding and completion, Number Series, Embedded figures, Figural Series, Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Emotional Intelligence, Word Building, Social Intelligence, Coding, and de-coding, Other sub-topics, if any Numerical operations.
General Awareness: Questions are designed to test the candidate’s general awareness of the environment and its application to society. Questions are also designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of an educated person.
The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General polity, and scientific research.

15.7.3.Graduation & above level:
General Intelligence: It would include questions of both verbal and non-verbal types. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, spatial orientation, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision-making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning, etc.
The topics are, Semantic Analogy, Symbolic/Number Analogy, Figural Analogy, Semantic Classification, Symbolic/ Number Classification, Figural Classification, Semantic Series, Number Series, Figural Series, Problem Solving, Word Building, Coding & de-coding, Numerical Operations, symbolic Operations, Trends, Space Orientation, Space Visualization, Venn Diagrams, Drawing inferences, Punched hole/ pattern –folding & un-folding, Figural Pattern – folding and completion, Indexing, Address 24 matching, Date & city matching, Classification of center codes/ roll numbers, Small & Capital letters/ numbers coding, decoding, and classification, Embedded Figures, Critical thinking, Emotional Intelligence, Social Intelligence, and Other sub-topics, if any.

The scope of the test will be the computation of whole numbers, decimals, fractions and relationships between numbers, Percentages, Ratio & Proportion, Square roots, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discounts, Partnership Business, Mixture and Allegation, Time and distance, Time & Work, Basic algebraic identities of School Algebra & Elementary surds, Graphs of Linear Equations, Triangles and their various kinds of centers, Congruence and similarity of triangles.
Circles and their chords, tangents, angles subtended by chords of a circle, common tangents to two or more circles, Triangle, Quadrilaterals, Regular Polygons, Circles, Right Prism, Right Circular Cone, Right Circular Cylinder, Sphere, Hemispheres, Rectangular Parallelepiped, Regular Right Pyramid with triangular or square base, Trigonometric ratio, Degree and Radian Measures, Standard Identities, Complementary angles, Heights and Distances, Histogram, Frequency polygon, Bar diagram & Pie chart.
English Language: Candidates‟ ability to understand correct English, his basic comprehension and writing ability, etc. would be tested. The questions in Parts A, B, & D will be of a level commensurate with the essential qualification viz. Graduation and questions in Part C will be of the 10th standard level.
Note: Only Quantitative Ability will be in accordance with the class 10th level. Other sections will have questions based on their education level.
